Felis catus - Domestic cat
While not a wildlife species by any stretch of imagination, the sheer numbers of domestic cats available in the Guangzhou Chou Tao market was remarkable enough to lead to their own page. While we do not know if the domestic kittens and cats pictured below were going into the restaurant trade or into the various pet markets throughout China, we do know that there were several hundred kittens available in crates and bags in the market.
