Arctonyx collaris - Hog-nosed badger
The picture of the animal below was taken at the Guangzhou Zoo. No pictures were taken of living Hog-nosed badgers in the market.
The similarities in the species kept at the Guangzhou Zoo was remarkably similar to the markets: almost every species found in the markets was also found in the zoo (though of course the zoo had a wide variety of other species beyond market species and overall was a nice place to visit).
The Hog-nosed badger below was dead and lying in the Guangzhou Chao Tou aisleway.
