A variety of keeled box turtles were available in numerous food, medicinal, and pet markets in China. Most of the specimens were relatively small at around 4 inches or so.
The two pictures below show a keeled box turtle from the Guangzhou Qing Ping markets.
The mouhotti below was mixed in with a variety of other chelonia in a pet market in Chengdu.
This elongata climbing mouhotti was in the medicinal market of Qing Ping in Guangzhou.
